Arizona State University operates the Cronkite School of Journalism and public television station KAET-TV, Channel 8, a PBS affiliate, at the ASU campus in Tempe, Arizona. The City of Phoenix, on behalf of ASU, constructed a new building at the ASU Downtown Phoenix Campus to house the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communications (CSJ) and the operations of KAET, including radio station KBAQ, internet-hosted educational outreach services and production facilities.
BFA was responsible for all broadcast systems design, contractor supervision and systems commissioning with ASU/CSJ personnel. The project included the TV broadcast and production areas, studios, edit suites, news rooms and support areas.
